So, the Log #5. It's been around 6 weeks since I wrote the first line of code for the ListenUser product.
I feel if I can reach this far then I can go much further. I just need to continue with my little steps.
This week I developed three functionalities: assignment of threads, status updates of threads and handling of email attachments.
Assignment and status
If you look at the above screenshot, you will see on the right, we have two properties: status and assignees.
Users will be able to set the status to Closed after they have resolved or replied to the
support request.
A thread can be assigned to the team members for them to handle it. Status and assignment updates will appear on the thread conversation as well.
Email attachments
The above video shows how attaching a file will look like.
So, that's it for this week, guys.
The thread UI is looking great to me so far. On Monday, I will reflect a little and will think calmly on what direction I should move forward for the next 5-6 days.
